Reformer

A more challenging workout

Pilates Reformer machines will transform your body shape, improve strength, flexibility and balance. Suitable for beginner to advanced, your instructor will offer a variety of options for each exercise.

Before commencing group Reformer classes (up to 10 people in class) you should have experience using a Reformer OR complete an Introduction to Reformer Class (see below).

If you have physical limitations including back pain, recovering from surgery, chronic illness or want a more personalised one on one session, you’ll need to go to our Clinical Pilates page to organise a Private Lesson.

Intro to reformer

For those who want to learn how to use this amazing piece of equipment or you might simply be looking for a refresher.

During this lesson, your instructor will show you the safe way to change the springs, put your feet in straps, stand on the Reformer and more! You’ll do a few exercises in each position and then you’ll be ready to join our group Reformer classes.

Reformer Align

Learn the fundamentals of Pilates with a strong focus on positioning, strength, balance and control. Gain confidence and strength using the Reformer machine and have fun along the way!

This class can be adapted for Pregnancy (please inform the teacher).

You must have experience using a Reformer machine or have completed an Intro to reformer class before attending this class.

Reformer

A fun and dynamic whole body workout that will leave you feeling amazing! We use the Reformer in many different ways to help with strength, flexibility, balance, agility and posture. This class is more dynamic and athletic than Reformer Align classes.

You must have experience using a Reformer machine or have completed an Intro to reformer class before attending this class.

Reformer HiiT

High Intensity Interval Training is a training technique in which you give all-out 100% effort through quick intense bursts of exercise followed by short recovery periods. A HIIT workout gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.

Strong bones and balance

66% of women over age 50 have either osteopenia or osteoporosis and approximately 50% of women over the age of 60 will experience a fracture. For men, it is 30%.

Help minimise bone loss from osteoporosis by attending our specialist classes focusing on resistance exercises, weight bearing and balance. Increase joint mobility, strength and agility.

It is recommended that you do an Intro to Reformer class before attending this class.

Mens stretch and strength

Men are often complaining of inflexibility specifically in the hips, hamstrings and back. Specifically designed with men in mind, stretches, strength, core and balance! Improve sports performance, help prevent back pain and improve flexibility. Perfect for all levels and ages.

You must have experience using a Reformer machine or have completed an Intro to reformer class before attending this class.
