Reformer

A more challenging workout

Pilates Reformer machines will transform your body shape, improve strength, flexibility and balance. Suitable for beginner to advanced, your instructor will offer a variety of options for each exercise.

Before commencing group Reformer classes (up to 10 people in class) you should have experience using a Reformer OR complete an Introduction to Reformer Class (see below).

If you have physical limitations including back pain, recovering from surgery, chronic illness or want a more personalised one on one session, you’ll need to go to our Clinical Pilates page to organise a Private Lesson.

Intro to reformer

For those who want to learn how to use this amazing piece of equipment or you might simply be looking for a refresher.

During this lesson, your instructor will show you the safe way to change the springs, put your feet in straps, stand on the Reformer and more! You’ll do a few exercises in each position and then you’ll be ready to join our group Reformer classes.

Reformer align

Reformer strong

Elevate your fitness routine with our advanced Reformer strength Class. This fun and dynamic class offers a comprehensive full-body workout, using weights, props and sometimes the jump-board. Perfect for those wanting to step up their Pilates practice!

You should have a good level of strength and some Reformer experience before attending these classes. You should feel confident in our Flow classes before starting Reformer Strong.

Bones and balance

66% of women over age 50 have either osteopenia or osteoporosis and approximately 50% of women over the age of 60 will experience a fracture. For men, it is 30%.

Help minimise bone loss from osteoporosis by attending our specialist classes focusing on resistance exercises, weight bearing and balance. Increase joint mobility, strength and agility.

It is recommended that you do an Intro to Reformer class before attending this class.

Pregnancy and post natal

Every pregnancy and post-baby experience is different and depending on your needs, we have options for you.

We highly recommend an initial consultation with a senior instructor in our clinical pilates studio if you are pregnant and just starting Pilates or have recently given birth. After the initial consultation, we may encourage you to do do more private lessons/semi-private or join Reformer Align classes. You can also form your own group (minimum 5 needed).

Mens stretch and strength

Men are often complaining of inflexibility specifically in the hips, hamstrings and back. Specifically designed with men in mind, stretches, strength, core and balance! Improve sports performance, help prevent back pain and improve flexibility. Perfect for all levels and ages.
