Pilates and stretch sessions
Each day builds on the day before and by end of week, you’ll feel stronger, stand taller and be more aware of your posture. Pilates is for every Body! Alison has many years of experience with a variety of clients from total beginner to athletes. We start with the basics and build from there. Our short guided meditations enable you to calm your mind through breathing techniques and help to set intensions, reduce stress, & increase gratitude and happiness. Evening stretch sessions & yoga will improve your flexibility which will ultimately help your posture and decrease pain. We will focus on shoulders, hamstrings, hip flexors, spine and calves.
When in Ubud
The hotel in Ubud is within walking distance of many shops, spas, and restaurants but is amazingly calm and peaceful. Large luxury rooms with verandahs overlooking rice fields, wake up to the quiet charm of village life. Sit and read on the expansive deck or swim in one of the two large pools.
When in Bingin
The stay in Bingin is at a brand new eco-friendly retreat villa. We will have the villa to ourselves with our own chef to prepare breakfasts and dinners. There are 6 individual villas, each with 2 rooms with 2 single or 1 king bed and a share private outdoor bathroom. A Yoga bale that can hold 24 will be where we practice our Pilates, meditation and stretch each day.
The bike ride from Kintamani to Ubud is a highlight for many of our clients. We start the day with a visit to the holy water temple where you have the opportunity to bathe in clear fresh spring water. Next we start riding (its all downhill!) through local streets in the hills behind Ubud, passing many interesting villages and sights! A stop at a rice paddie, a local primary school and a traditional home including the family temple before completing the tour at a large family home for lunch.
We hold two very unique workshops that will change your life! Natural movement is a passion of Alisons and she will impart information that will help you learn about how moving more and moving better. Learn some of the small changes you can make to improve your alignment and posture. Help prevent knee, hip, neck, pelvic floor and back issues. The second workshop is on goal setting. How often have you had the time or the calmness of mind to really think about what you want in life. We will guide you through 8 main areas of your life, choosing one priority to work on in more detail. Go home with the tools in hand to put your goals into action!
